The Orchard

Our stunning 4,000-square-foot event center boasts high ceilings, soaring exposed beams, wood flooring, a neutral color palette, and rooms flooded with natural light, thanks to sliding glass walls that open to an expansive outdoor patio and event lawn along Lake Mishkin.

A versatile venue accommodating up to 224 guests, it can also be divided for smaller gatherings. The Orchard also includes two smaller rooms, Rubinette and Yarlington, ideal for a bridal suite or an additional reception space; the large event lawn, with its lakeside manicured grass, can be tented for groups of up to 250.

The Amphitheater

Located on the lakeshore, The Amphitheater Is an open-air space offering an enchanting, romantic “under the stars” atmosphere with views of the orchards, rolling lush hills, and forest. It features a sloping lawn with a large waterfront stage and is ideal for large events of up to 350 guests.

The Conservatory Terrace

Alongside Southall’s greenhouse conservatories and a courtyard landscaped with edible herbs and plants, you’ll find the Conservatory Terrace. This open-air venue can accommodate up to 65 guests under canvas canopies and includes a lawn featuring custom Adirondack chairs made with Tennessee sassafras. The Conservatory Terrace offers plenty of room for a welcome reception and cocktail party, an afternoon picnic, or a late-night after-party—perhaps with music from a soon-to-be-discovered country music star filling the night air.

The Jammery

Housing our preservation and demonstration kitchen, The Jammery features a charming porch that adds to the down-home feel. It can accommodate up to 24 guests for private dinners, exclusive cooking demonstrations, and tastings.

The Tulip Poplar

Our conference room in the inn features a custom table that seats 12, making it ideal for intimate gatherings.

The Hilltop Pavilion

Overlooking the valley with panoramic views, our Hilltop Pavilion features a large cantilevered and covered deck with a custom outdoor cooking area, ideal for hosting a casual al fresco dining experience. The Pavilion building can accommodate up to 75 guests; the lush Hilltop lawn is 7,500 square feet, offering even more space for reception-style events up to 150 guests.

The Sundial

From small moments of daily Zen to big moments meant to be celebrated, it all comes full circle at our Sundial, located atop the northern ridge of the farm and overlooking our terraced apple orchard. This sacred space, which can accommodate up to 30 guests, is ideal for hosting an intimate reception or an outdoor yoga class. Featuring a stunning vista any time of day, it is particularly spectacular at sunset and the perfect place to enjoy nature’s bounty.

The Covered Bridge

Hand-hewn from cedar and stretching 65 feet over Polk Creek, our bridge provides up to 40 seated guests with a one-of-a-kind dining experience in a serene, unique setting. Savor cocktails at sunset in the nearby wooded grove and meadow, followed by a multi-course dinner, on the only covered bridge in the area available for private events.
