Southall Honey
In January 2018, Southall was recognized with a Good Food Award for Best Honey-Southeast, arguably the top honor in the country for craft producers and farmers. Beekeeper Jay Williams says the 2017 honey was exceptionally floral from a potent locust bloom that spring, coupled with a bit of leftover tulip poplar bloom that persisted thanks to perfect weather conditions in May.
The 2019 harvest shows very similar characteristics, and once again has been named a finalist in the Good Food Awards. Winners will be announced in January 2020. Southall is offering 100 four-ounce jars of our honey for the holiday season. They will be available for pickup at our Farm Stand on December 11 and 18. To secure your jar, please click here. Due to the limited supply, we ask that you limit your purchase to 2 jars per person.
