Do I need a reservation to experience the property?

Yes! Southall is open to anyone with an overnight, activity, dining, or spa reservation. The only exception is The Farmstand, which does not require a reservation.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome for Inn guests only. We offer a selection of pet-friendly rooms for a fee of $250, with a limit of one dog per room. Dogs are not permitted in dining areas and they must be leashed and with you at all times. If you need to leave your dog in the room, kindly place the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door for their comfort and safety.

If I book a room, will that guarantee me access to spa and dining?

Booking a room doesn’t guarantee availability to spa or dining during your stay, as they are both subject to availability. You may call our Southall Experiences office at 615-282-2000 to discuss availability for spa and dining.

What are your hours?

The Southall Experience Specialist office hours are from 8am-10pm
The Spa is open from 8:30am-6pm.
January is open 5-10pm Wednesday-Sunday (last reservations at 8:30pm).
Sojourner is open 7-10:30am, 12-4pm, and 5-10pm every day (last reservations at 8:30pm).

Can I drive my personal vehicle to my cottage or am I provided a golf cart?

For the safety and security of all guests, personal vehicles are all required to be valeted and vehicles are not permitted to access the cottages. Our dedicated team is available 24 hours a day to provide transportation throughout the property, ensuring a seamless and worry-free experience during your stay.

Can I bring a cake into the restaurant?

Due to health regulations, we don’t allow cakes in either of our restaurants. If you are staying on property, we can order you a cake from our bakery 72 hours in advance.

Can I order an amenity to a room?

Whether you are ordering an amenity to your own room or ordering one for a friend’s room, we can accommodate that 24-48 hour in advance depending upon the type of amenity. To order an amenity please call our Southall Experience Specialists at 615-282-2000.

Can I order flowers to my room to arrive upon checking in?

Our experience specialists can order flowers for an amenity upon check in 72 hours in advance. Please call us at 615-282-2000.

What are the hours for In-Room Dining?

7am – 10pm

What are your dining options on property?

We have two different restaurants at Southall called Sojourner and January. Sojourner is our more casual lounge offering breakfast (7am-10am), lunch (12pm-3pm), and dinner service (5pm-10pm) 7 days a week by reservations only. January is our signature fine dining restaurant, open for dinner service only, Wednesday through Sunday from 5pm to 10pm, with last reservations at 8:30pm. Both are seed to fork restaurants, with seasonal menus.

Can I have an event / my wedding at Southall?

We would love to host a rehearsal dinner, wedding, or corporate event with you. Please contact us by visiting the Gather page in the menu!

Do you offer charitable contributions?

Thank you for thinking of Southall. As you can imagine, we receive several donation requests, and while we wish we could support them all, we are currently prioritizing organizations that address food insecurity, such as The Store – a free grocery store for those in need.

What are the hours of the Spa?

Our facilities are available from 8:30am to 6:00pm. The first appointment of the day begins at 9:00am, with the final appointment starting at 4:30pm.

What do I get with the Spa Day Pass?

Spa Day Passes are available on a limited basis by reservation only and include access to our spa-exclusive facilities, along with a locker, robe, and slippers for your comfort.

Which areas of the spa are co-ed?

Our relaxation areas and outdoor spaces including the mineral pool are welcoming to all guests, while our locker rooms are thoughtfully designated for gender-specific use to ensure comfort and privacy.

What is the cancellation policy?

Spa: If you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require 24 hours notification. Missed appointments without proper 24 hours notice to spa reception are subject to a 100% charge for reserved services.
Room Reservations: You may cancel or modify your reservation up to 14 days prior to your arrival date to receive a full refund of the first night’s stay deposit. Changes to arrival dates must also be made at least 14 days in advance. Cancellations or modifications within 14 days of arrival are subject to our cancellation policy. For assistance, please contact our reservations team.

Are we able to order lunch in the spa? Can we order cocktails or champagne/alcohol in the spa?

Food & beverage service within the spa is thoughtfully limited to smoothies and coffee, which are available for you to enjoy at any time during your visit. We have a selection of infused waters, tea, elixirs, and light, nourishing bites from our esteemed culinary team in the Iris Lounge, available throughout the day for our spa guests. Our restaurant is just a peaceful stroll through our hallways, and we’d be delighted for you to experience lunch there. To ensure availability, we recommend reserving your table when booking your spa services, allowing you to fully enjoy your day with us.

Is the mineral pool open all year?

The mineral pool is enjoyable year-round, heated to 101 degrees, and protected from the elements by a retractable awning.

Are the Spa amenities included with a manicure or pedicure?

Every service except for the nail services includes the spa amenities from 8:30-6pm. If you would like access to the amenities with a nail service, you can buy an additional day pass subject to availability for $75 for off-property guests and $50 for inn guests.
